MISSION STATEMENT

The purpose of the Morris Area Chamber of Commerce is to maximize a progressive business community, while enhancing community pride.

IT REPRESENTS YOU…..

The Morris Area Chamber of Commerce collectively represents the business, professional, educational and agricultural interests of the Morris area to advance the economic and civic well-being of the community.

The Chamber is committed to involvement in and promotion of the community and activities that occur within it.

IT PROVIDES BENEFITS….

Members receive the monthly Chamber newsletter, The Connection, as well as our Friday Facts e-mailed to you each Friday both keeping you informed of a variety of community concerns and happenings You are eligible to accept Chamber Cash, be included on the Project Alert Calling Tree, and have a listing and link on the Chamber web page. You and/or your employees can take advantage of educational offerings sponsored by the Chamber. And…your business is supported by other Chamber member businesses.

MORE ABOUT MORRIS…

Horticulture Gardens in Morris, MNThree state and federal highways pass through the community. The City of Morris is governed by a mayor and four council members, with a city-appointed manager. It also serves as the county seat for Stevens County.

Founded in 1871, Morris received its name from Charles F. Morris, the chief engineer of the St. Paul and Pacific Railroad.
