Prairie Pioneer Days Button Contest Criteria:

Button design must include the following:

- The words “Prairie Pioneer Days” and the dates “July 9-11, 2010”

- Must be a black and white design sized at 1.75 inches square, in  a  format suitable for placement on a 2-inch circular button.

- Edges should have a white margin around the border of “flexible”, meaning no important part of the design would be cut off if it bled over the edge of the button.

-Entries must be submitted in electronic format.

1. Contest entries will be judged by the Morris Area Chamber of Commerce (MACC) Prairie Pioneer Days Committee.
2. The decision of the MACC Prairie Pioneer Days Committee will be final. The Committee also reserves the right to select none of the submitted designs.
3. Winner of the contest will be announced in both the Morris newspaper and KMRS-KKOK radio. A Grand Prize of $50 Chamber Cash will be awarded to the creator of the winning design.
4. Winning entry will be used as the design for the 2010 Prairie Pioneer Days commemorative button. Design will become the property of the Morris Area Chamber of Commerce and cannot be otherwise used without written consent of the MACC. No entries will be returned.
5. Contest entries should be submitted via email to the Morris Area Chamber of Commerce at mchamber@fedtel.net, be March 31, 2010.

Dear Chamber Members,

Your Morris Area Chamber of Commerce is continually looking for ways to improve the value of your membership, and the vitality of the economic and business environment in our surrounding communities.  In this effort we need to periodically evaluate our performance so that we can hone in on what is working and enhance it, and also determine which programs and promotions are of less value to our members.  Therefore, we are asking our members and their employee’s to evaluate the Chamber’s performance.

This survey lists the events and promotions that the Chamber has developed, sponsored and promoted over the past few years, along with training opportunities and other joint ventures that have been considered.  Please respond to all the questions that apply to you.

We are very interested in what our entire business community has to say – your feedback is invaluable.  Please make copies of the survey and have your employee’s respond as well.  All feedback – positive and not-so-positive – is welcome.  Please complete and gather all responses and return them to the Morris Area Chamber office by Friday November 13, at 507 Atlantic Ave., Morris, MN 56267.
