Drop off Electronics to be recycled also at Engebretson’s Recycling and Disposal. Electronic items can not be placed in the trash because the contain lead. Recycle these items today by bringing them to Engebretson’s M-F 8am-4pm or Sat 8am-12noon.

Disposing of Batteries

*Rechargeable batteries* must be recycled at the retailer location or at a Household Hazardous Waste site (HHW)

*Single-use lithium batteries or button-batteries* must also be taken to retailer location or a HHW site

*Vehicle batteries* must be taken to an auto battery retailer

*Single-use alkaline/carbon zinc batteries* are safe to place in the trash unless you purchased them in 1993 or before
